Located within the historic North End of Boston at 278 North Street, our charming, boutique studio hosts mat classes and reformer rentals.
Our front room hosts mat classes, led mostly by apprentice instructors earning their hours to become mat or comprehensive certified Pilates teachers.
Our back room is equipped with a Pilates reformer, which can be rented for self-practice, or to teach students.
Membership and approval is required for our reformer rentals. Personal liability insurance is required to teach students, if not an employee at our studios.
We hire comprehensively certified mat instructors and apprentice instructors.
Our certified instructors help students earn observation and self practice hours. An apprentice simply purchases a membership or class pass to join a class to observe.
Apprentice instructors, looking to earn hours teaching, will be considered for employment to teach mat classes once they've completed the following:
Students receive a free class for providing valuable feedback about your classes. After 30-days of teaching as an apprentice, students receive a survey to help you understand areas that you're doing well at and areas that may need improvement. This feedback is confidential.
What Teachers Say About Us
Emma
Our restorative mat Pilates class is all about unwinding, stretching, and finding deep relaxation through gentle movement. Focused on releasing tension and promoting mobility, this class combines mindful Pilates techniques with restorative practices to help restore balance in your body and mind. You’ll flow through a series of slow, controlled movements that focus on flexibility, breathwork, and calming the nervous system. Some sessions may include the use of foam rollers to enhance myofascial release, easing muscle tightness and improving circulation. Ideal for all levels, this class is perfect for those looking to relax, recover, and rejuvenate while nurturing both your body and mind.
